Base Camp is a great place indeed. Located @ 1024 20th Street South in between Club 1120 and Banana Joe's; it offers a very laid back stop along the way from all the noise of the Southside Nightclubs. Coming through the doors, you have a giant bar in the middle of the room that goes all the way to the back. On either side of the bar is nice seating and two pool tables. There are two stages at Base Camp. One is up front on the left of the door and the other is in the back on the right. One or both usually has some great local music playing each week. The staff will keep you well lubricated all night long. Base Camp is open 7 days a week Sunday Karoake, Monday & Tuesday Open Mic Night , Wednesday night is karaoke, Thursday night is Singer and Songwriter and of course good band and Friday and Saturday nights.
